Pastor Kevin A. Harris was born October 14, 1981 in Dallas, Tx. Pastor Kevin is a proud graduate of W.W. Samuell High School, where received the Longhorn Opportunity Scholarship for his excellence in academics. This prestigious scholarship landed Pastor Kevin at the University of Texas at Austin where he attended until the birth of his first daughter Alexus. Currently, Pastor Kevin A. Harris is a proud father of 3 extraordinary children and the devoted husband of the stunning Yolanda Harris.

His Journey To Christ

Pastor Kevin’s journey to Christ is not a traditional one. He was not raised in the church and exhibited no religious background. This changed in the summer of 2005. Pastor Kevin surrendered his life to Christ at the mere age of 24 and immediately immersed himself into the word of God. Since then, Pastor Kevin has tried to uphold the standards set by Jesus Christ and share God’s love through Bible-based teachings.

Pastor Kevin A. Harris has served as the Senior Pastor of Empowerment Community Center for the last 10 years. Pastor Kevin has a passion for teaching the word of God and serving people. His continued progress as a Man of God and thorough dedication to the craft has led to constant increase in membership and has produced a positive impact in the surrounding community.
